Cinefolk Studio is a wedding photography studio based in Maharashtra, built by people who genuinely love weddings. How We Began
Cinefolk Studio began with a simple frustration. Too many wedding films looked the same — loud music, over-edited colours, and moments that felt staged rather than real. We believed weddings deserved better. We wanted to make films that felt like the day actually felt: emotional, calm, and full of small honest moments.
So we started small, filming weddings for friends and family across Maharashtra. Word spread. Couples told other couples. What began as a passion grew into a full wedding photography and cinematography studio serving Marathi, luxury, traditional, and destination weddings. Through every wedding, our promise has stayed the same — treat each couple’s story with respect, and deliver work we are truly proud of.
Meet the Founder — Swapnil Gulhane
Every studio has a person behind it, and ours is Swapnil Gulhane, our Founder and Lead Cinematographer. Swapnil built Cinefolk Studio around a belief that a wedding film should move you — that years later, watching it should bring back the exact feeling of the day.
With hands-on experience filming weddings across Maharashtra, Swapnil leads every major shoot personally. He plans the cinematic frames, guides the team on the day, and oversees the final edit so the story stays true. His calm presence on the wedding day is something couples mention again and again — he keeps the crew organised so families can simply enjoy the celebration.

Behind every Cinefolk Studio wedding is a coordinated team — lead photographers, candid specialists, cinematographers, drone operators, and editors. Each person is chosen for skill and for temperament, because a wedding needs people who are both talented and easy to work with.
Our candid photographers know how to disappear into the background and catch honest emotion. Our cinematographers plan movement and light like filmmakers. Our editors spend hours colour-grading and shaping each film so it feels premium. We also match the right team size to your event, so a smaller ceremony gets a focused crew while a large destination wedding gets a full team with backup equipment.
